Growing, Educating, and Connecting Communities
The Multnomah County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden currently has sixteen raised beds, providing almost 2000 square feet of healthy soil for growing fruits and vegetables. Teams of volunteers plan, plant and care for those beds. We donate fresh produce to local food charities and we offer educational gardening classes to Master Gardeners and community members.
For more information about the 2021 production results from our garden, check out our Demonstration Garden Facts.
We make many feet of seed tape every year for our small seeds, such as lettuce, kale, chives, onions, radish and carrots. What is seed tape and how do you make it? Click here to learn.
