‘Tis the season for a little indoor gardening! Join our December Speaker Series as award winning terrarium designer, Hollye Maxwell, walks you through a virtual terrarium build. She will demonstrate building a terrarium and talk about how best to care for it.
Hollye Maxwell is a member of the PNW Begonia Society and the American Begonia Society. She has an unnatural interest in carnivorous plants, and loves anything related to gardening either indoors or out! Hollye is the owner of Maxwell Studios, L.L.C., an interior design, and fine art studio, as well as a new venture, Hollye, focusing on indoor gardening and living art. As an avid gardener, she completed the Oregon Master Gardener Program™ in the 1990s and this has led her down the path of linking indoor gardening with interior design. Terrariums, in her opinion, are a perfect medium for connecting the indoors with nature.
