Join our November Speaker Series as Nicole Sanchez, Assistant Professor, OSU Extension Service provides tips to prune like a pro – covering tools and techniques for making appropriate pruning cuts to support the health of your plants.
Nicole Sanchez has worked in horticulture for over 35 years, including positions in retail, botanical garden administration, and university settings. She’s been serving at OSU as an Assistant Professor of Practice in horticulture, based in Klamath, Lake and Harney Counties, for over six years. Nicole’s areas of expertise include integrated pest management, vegetable production, and entomology. Nicole coordinates the Klamath County Master Gardener Program and is part of the OSU Small Farms team. In addition, she has hosts the popular OSU Master Gardener trivia night and has produced the informative 'Pruning With the Pros' video series. She’s also an avid quilter and published poet.
